Biography

I  trained as a Registered General Nurse, qualifying in 1986, and worked within the NHS for a number of years specialising in renal nursing.

I became interested in Craniosacral Therapy, with its positive emphasis on building and maintaining health, and went on to train at the Karuna Institute, Devon under Franklyn Sills. I established my practice as a craniosacral therapist in Edinburgh in 1989.

Subsequently I trained in Core Process Psychotherapy at the Karuna Institute and in Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology with Dr. Ray Castellino.

My practice has shaped itself in response to a deep interest in how we are shaped by our life experience from conception onwards and also by ancestral imprinting. Trauma resolution is a strong focus in my clinical work. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to train with some of the most skilled and inspiring teachers in my chosen fields.
